The Utah Geological Association originated in
1970 from a merger of the Utah Geological Society (UGSociety), the Intermountain
Association of Geologists (IAG), and the Intermountain Association of
Petroleum Geologists (IAPG). The following road logs
were published prior to 1971 by the Utah Geological Society (1946-1970), the
Intermountain Association of Geologists (1965-1970), and the Intermountain
Association of Petroleum Geologists (1949-1965).
UGA accepts no responsibility for geological interpretations presented in the road logs;
interpretations may have
changed since publication of the guidebooks. Remember the roads and landmarks
mentioned in the road logs make not presently exist!

of Natural Resources Library, 1594 West North Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah,
7:30AM to 4:30PM, M-F, 801.537.3333.
