The second edition of Publication 28 has
enhanced most of the color illustrations and has been re-edited to include
information on several of the parks and special areas including Arches,
Zion, Antelope Island, Flaming Gorge, and Sheep Creek Canyon.
The second edition also contains a
chapter on the geology of the Paria Canyon Wilderness Area of Utah and
Arizona, part of which is included in the new Vermilion Cliffs National
Monument.
