UGA and AWG-Salt Lake Chapter are hosting a two-night group camp-out complete with various geologic and non-geologic activities. The organizations will cover the cost of the group campgrounds and both evening meals. Participants provide their own transportation (carpools may be available), gear, and other meals and drinks. There is no cost to register, but you will be asked to commit by July 19 so that wait-listed campers and rafters can join. Park entrance fee, rafting, and other activities are at your expense. Come explore unique Dinosaur National Monument, only a 3.5 hour drive east of SLC with a bunch of geologists! https://www.nps.gov/dino/index.htm
RSVP for this event at https://www.utahgeology.org/tour-utah/uga-awg-camping-registration/
Note that the RSVP form does not register you for rafting. Register for rafting and pay directly with Adrift Adventures using the link below.
Space is limited to the first 50 people for camping and 25 for rafting. Families and friends welcome as long as someone in your group is a UGA or AWG member. Join UGA here https://www.utahgeology.org/ or AWG here http://awg.org/.
All activities are optional and at your own risk. Meals are on your own except dinner both nights.
